As President of Tailored Staffing, Jamie Smith has been in the fashion industry for over 20 years. A graduate of University of Maryland, Jamie knew at an early age that fashion was where she wanted to be.
Early on in her career, Jamie started on the retail side with Lord and Taylor, at the flag ship NYC location. She then moved to the wholesale side, with companies like Nautica and Calvin Klein, where she worked her way up to Director of Sales.
In 2000, Jamie moved to the recruiting side of the industry, where she successfully started up her own recruiting firm. With her many contacts in the industry, it was a natural fit for Jamie to become a recruiter.
Now with a database of over 14,000 individuals, Jamie has positioned herself as the go-to person when it comes to finding key candidates in the industry. Over the years, she has successfully completed many searches for the top companies in the fashion industry at all levels of search.
